my first sighting was an axis deer just a few yards away from the tent

Bison roaming the land... I cant imagine what it was like when there were millions of these roaming the landscape

what a wonderful creature the american bison

this poor sandcrane was looking for its mate every day...hopefully someday they will meet again.
